ENG 226 Argument and Discourse (3). A study of advanced principles of argumentation and conventions of rhetoric as applied to spoken and written public discourse. Application of the foundational components may be based on an instructor-chosen theme, such as discourse in political, environmental, religious, or other domains. Prerequisite: ENG 104 or 105 or the equivalent.
