TSL 633 Language and Culture (3). A study of the relationship among language, society and the individual¿s concept of reality. The course examines a variety of anthropological and ethnographic concepts and findings as they relate to language and language learning in its broadest context. The course will also examine socio- and comparative linguistics, the relationship between culture and language, and the implications for second language teaching. (Same as ENG/MLA 633.)
