CSC 345 - Data Structures
CSC 345 Data Structures (3). Data structures and abstract data types (ADTs) for arrays, strings, lists, stacks, queues, trees, and graphs. These ADTs are presented in both static and dynamic memory implementations. The course also cover the design and implementation of recursive algorithms such as sorting and searching, hasing functions, priority queues, and heaps. Other topics (recursion, lists, events, inheritance, polymorphism) in object-oriented programming will be covered as time permits. Three hours lecture and two hours laboratory per week. Prerequisite: CSC 145 with a grade of C or higher.
