MAT 097 - Intermediate Algebra
MAT 097 (105) Intermediate Algebra (4). Algebraic expressions, exponents, linear and quadratic equations, graphing, systems of equations, inequalities, and mathematical modeling. Students who have received a grade of C or better in any mathematics course numbered MAT 130 or above can not enroll in this course without written permission of the departmental chair. Credit earned in this course cannot be counted toward graduation requirements and cannot be used to fulfill university studies requirements. Required for students with a 19 ACT and degree requirements which include MAT 130, 135, 140, 145, or 150. Prerequisite: ACT math standard score of at least 19 or MAT 100.
